The Chicago Bears have had an offseason not only to remember, but one to be excited about early in the offseason. Even before the 2025 NFL draft takes place, Chicago has done considerable work to upgrade their roster as they look to rebound from a disappointing season last year in quarterback Caleb Williams' rookie season.
WWE superstar Seth Rollins, one of the team's biggest fans, has taken notice of what the Bears are doing this offseason with the hiring of head coach Ben Johnson and an overhaul of the trenches.
During a recent appearance on "The Rich Eisen Show," Rollins discussed his excitement around the Bears' moves and looking to erase the memories of the disappointing 2024 season.
"The fact that they took the time to invest in the guards and center positions, I think that's going to be huge for Caleb [Williams]," Rollins told Rich Eisen. "Veteran presence, Joe Thuney in there, because he's going to be able to move protections around and take care of some things that Caleb is not able to do and they didn't have anybody to do that for them last year. I think it's going to be a big step in the right direction."
After the offensive line gave up a league-high 68 sacks on Williams last season, not only did the Bears identify the need to upgrade their offensive line, but they also brought in a head coach who can build an offense around their young quarterback. All those factors have Rollins excited about this team, and now it'll be up to see how they produce on the field in 2025.
