Gina Kirschenheiter made some stunning —and unexpected— upgrades to her Mission Viejo home.
In Season 18, Episode 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County Gina welcomed Emily Simpson over to see the updates she made to her three kids' bedrooms. The New York native, who purchased the abode in early 2020, shares three children, Nicholas, Sienna, and Luca, with her ex, Matt Kirschenheiter.
"Let me show you the rooms," Gina said to Emily in the October 3 episode. Upon entering Nick's room, Emily gushed about the black-and-white layout and a New York City mural on the wall behind his bed.
"This is cool, Nick! I love the New York skyline," Emily exclaimed.
Nicholas' room also features a large black desk against the mural wall and a bed with gray bedding, a white throw blanket, a large black pillow, and a throw pillow with a smiley face imprint.

And just in case the siblings needed to get out in a hurry, Gina had a fire pole installed in the middle of the two bunk beds. "Oh my gosh, this is so fun!" Emily exclaimed. "This looks huge!"
After Nicholas slid down the pole from the top bunks, he encouraged his mom to take a swing at it. "Try it, Mom!" he said.
Before Gina slowly slid down the pole, she hilariously whispered to Emily, "I'd be the world's worst stripper."
Eventually, she made it to the floor.
Emily then tried her hand at sliding down the pole, joking in a confessional interview, "I feel like I could be a good stripper. Why can't there be like, a golden strip club? The golden girls! We're just swinging from poles, need to take some ibuprofen here and there."
Gina Kirschenheiter's Transformed Outdoor Space
In addition to the interior, Gina has made upgrades to the outdoor areas of her home.
“I’m so pumped because I’m getting an outdoor upgrade!” Gina shared in a June Instagram Story. “Getting an RTA Outdoor Living kitchen installed and Coyote appliances. I’m stoked! Just in time for summer.”
A few hours later, Gina shared another video of herself helping the installation crew.
“I did it! Yeah!” she laughed. “Look at that quality craftsmanship there… It really is very easy. So proud of myself."
“Look at this. This is badass,” Gina exclaimed while showing off the kitchen. “It’s all Coyote appliances, RTA Outdoor kitchen. I have storage; I have a pizza oven because every Italian girl needs a pizza oven; a refrigerator; a garbage can, which is very helpful with the kids. And this is actually my favorite: the griddle… I’m gonna use this every day. I had a griddle that was just free-standing and I really leveled up. I’m so excited for the summer!”
