The Seahawks already knew their opponents for the 2025 season.

On Wednesday, they found out the dates, times and TV designations for all 17 games, as well as their bye week.

The schedule begins and ends with games against the San Francisco 49ers — at home on Sept. 7 at Lumen Field and on the road on the final weekend on either Jan. 3-4 (the day and time will be set the week of the game).

The Seahawks have no international games and do not play on Thanksgiving or Christmas, but they will play four games in primetime, the same amount they had on the initial schedule last season.

Those consist of a Monday night affair at Lumen Field on Oct. 20 against quarterback C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans, a Sunday night game on Nov. 2 against Bobby Wagner and the Washington Commanders on the road, as well as two Thursday night games — at Arizona (Sept. 25) and at Lumen Field against the Rams (Dec. 18).

The Houston game will have a rare start time of 7 p.m. for a regular-season game as it is part of a Monday night doubleheader. It’s the latest start for a game in franchise history. That game will stream on ESPN+.

The Seahawks could end up with more or fewer primetime starts, as games later in the season are subject to being flexed.

The Seahawks also announced the opponents and locations for their three preseason games with dates to come later, a schedule that will be highlighted by a return to Seattle for former Seahawks coach Pete Carroll in his first season with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Carroll and the Raiders are set to play at Lumen Field to open the preseason schedule in Week 1 (Aug. 7-10) with a game against Kansas City at Lumen Field the following week (Aug. 14-18) and a game at Green Bay to close out the preseason (Aug. 21-24). All three will be televised locally on KING 5.

The Seahawks have a well-timed bye in the middle of the schedule at Week 8, following the Monday night game, allowing them to avoid the tough turnaround they had a year ago when they played three games in 10 days beginning with a Monday night game. They lost all three.

The Seahawks’ schedule also appears well-balanced with four of their first seven at home before the bye week and six of their last 10 on the road. That includes ending the regular season with the final two games on the road — at Carolina and the weekend of Jan. 3-4 at San Francisco.

They have eight home games and nine on the road, as does as every other NFC team.

Other highlights include a Week 2 trip to face the Pittsburgh Steelers and DK Metcalf on Sept. 14; a visit to Tennessee and a reunion with Tyler Lockett on Nov. 23; and a trip to Atlanta on Dec. 7 to face a Falcons team that will go with former UW standout Michael Penix Jr. as its starting quarterback.

The Seahawks will also have four 10 a.m. games — Sept. 14 at Pittsburgh, Oct. 12 at Jacksonville, Nov. 23 at Tennessee and Dec. 7 at Atlanta. Early starts have ceased to be an issue for the Seahawks in recent seasons, as they are 27-11 in their last 38 early-start games and were 3-0 last season.

The schedule calls for the Seahawks to fly 31,302 miles during the regular season, third-most of any NFL team behind two other West Coast teams — the L.A. Chargers at 37,086 and L.A. Rams at 34,832.
