The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are going into this season expecting to compete for a playoffs spot come January.  Both teams are coming off a 9-8 record, however, Green Bay was within three points of reaching the NFC Championship game and Seattle narrowly missed the playoffs.

Just days before the 2024 season, Seattle decided to sign one former Packers player.

According to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic:

Seahawks signed DE Kenneth Odumegwu and DT Quinton Bohanna to the practice squad. DT Kyon Barrs and OL Max Pircher were released yesterday.

It was announced on Aug. 21 that Odumegwu had been waived by the Packers. Earlier this month, the 23-year-old signed an International Player Pathway contract with the Packers.

After parting ways with Odumegwu this summer, Green Bay signed kicker Alex Hale to the NFL International Player Pathway.

Odumegwu made one tackle in the 2024 preseason for the Packers. Over in Seattle, he’ll have another chance to make an NFL roster.
