The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine came to an end on Sunday.
The Seattle Seahawks had the chance to meet with multiple top prospects in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. One of which was arguably the prospect who had the most impressive showing during on-field drills.
Seahawks met with South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori at the Scouting Combine

The Seahawks met with South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori at the Scouting Combine. Emmawori recorded six interceptions during his three-year career at South Carolina. Four of them came in 2024, and he led the FBS with two interceptions returned for touchdowns. If his production wasn't impressive enough for you, his combine performance was nothing short of fantastic.
Emmanwori's athletic profile is truly elite, and his potential at the pro level looks sky-high. He would be a great addition to Mike Macdonald's defense. To make it even better, he also has a unique connection to a Seahawks legend. He played for Kam Chancellor's former coach, and he has even compared Emmanwori to Chancellor. Getting help in the secondary would be a win for the Seahawks, but landing their next Kam Chancellor would be a dream come true for the franchise and the fan base. After his combine performance, it's fair to wonder if he will make it to the Seahawks at pick 18. But if they were as impressed with Emmanwori during their meeting as they were with his on-field drills they could think he is worth trading up for.
