Seahawks legendary CB Richard Sherman is set to rep the team yet again by playing key role in welcoming a new member to the team

Richard Sherman last suited up for the Seattle Seahawks during the 2017-2018 season. And while the franchise legend won't be putting his jersey and cleats on to run onto the field again, he will still be repping the franchise at the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.

Richard Sherman and Shaun Alexander set to announce Seahawks draft selections during the 2025 NFL Draft

The NFL announced that current and former players will announce draft selections live during the 2025 NFL Draft. The Seahawks have two former players making the trip to Green Bay to announce their second-round (50, 52) and third-round (82, 92) selections.

Sherman was drafted in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, and Alexander was drafted in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft. I'm sure it'll feel good to see Sherman, especially rep the team again, with how large his role was in the team's dominant "Legion of Boom" defense, which many fans would say is one of, if not the brightest, days of the team's history.

This won't be Alexander's first time doing this, as he announced the team's second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, where the team selected safety Marquise Blair.

Owen started blood cancer treatment at age four. Thanks to groundbreaking research by @StJude, he's cancer free at 13.

And announcing the @Seahawks' second round pick. ✊
