Scheana Shay recalled when Lisa Vanderpump refused to take a photo with her at The Grammys, and she revealed when Lisa wanted her to defend James Kennedy after he “attacked [Katie Maloney‘s] body image” on Vanderpump Rules. The star also addressed her “one and done” hookup with Entourage‘s Adrian Grenier.
Earlier this year, Lisa reacted to reports that Scheana shared negative information about Lisa in her new memoir, My Good Side. In her response, Lisa seemingly referred to Scheana as one of “600 people” that worked for her. The ex-co-stars apparently haven’t spoken since Scheana exited Pump Rules.
On SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, Scheana discussed her relationship with Lisa.
“When she talks about me now, I’m just one of 700 employees she has, so I’m like, ‘Okay, well then you’re just my former boss,’” she said. “It’s hurtful… I was [her good soldier]. You know, if I was told to jump, I would say, ‘How high and in what dress?’”
Later on, Scheana recalled when Lisa refused to take a selfie with her at the Emmy Awards because Scheana had just taken a photo with Kyle Richards, her enemy.
“[She] was like, ‘No … Why don’t you go take another photo with Kyle Richards?’” said Scheana. “I was just like, ‘Wait, are you being serious?’ … And [she] just walked away.”
In an interview for ET, Scheana claimed that, in a past season, Lisa “wanted me to defend James [Kennedy]” at a staff meeting after he said that Katie’s outfit was unflattering and “attacked her body image.” Scheana alleged that Lisa wanted her to do it so Lisa wouldn’t “have to fire him.” According to the star, Scheana refused even after Lisa gave her a “death stare.”
Back in her chat for Page Six Radio, Scheana addressed her ‘history’ with actor Adrian Grenier.
“Well, I did not date him,” she clarified. “I saw that [he was mentioned] in Us Weekly, and it was like, ‘[Scheana’s] dating history.’ I was like, ‘It was a one-time little thing at The Mondrian [Hotel].’”
“[It was] a one and done, but it wasn’t fully done because it was just … a little awkward and I just was like, this is not Vinny Chase,” she continued, referring to his character on Entourage. “[It was about] his energy. Yeah. It was just, we were not on the same wavelength.”
Scheana then shared another part of the story.
“I remember he was in a band with his brothers or something, and it was called like the Honey Bears or, I don’t know. It was interesting,” she explained. “It wasn’t really my vibe of music, but he was like showing me this video and stuff, and I was like, ‘Did I come here to watch a video?’”
