FOXBOROUGH, Mass - Will Campbell walked out onto the field at Gillette Stadium beside New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his son Jonathan Kraft on Friday.
The Patriots were celebrating the first-round draft pick with a ceremony on the field, presenting him with a jersey.
Campbell then took a few moments to speak with reporters for a second time since being drafted, answering questions about the last 24 hours.

Robert Kraft: "It's always special to welcome a new Patriot, and today's presentation carries a special value to me because 25 years ago, as the stadium was being constructed, we started a tradition that brings pride and promise: bringing the Patriots top pick out here and presenting him with a No. 1 jersey. That tradition started exactly 25 years ago when we brought Richard Seymour here and presented him with the No. 1 jersey. Today, we continue that tradition and legacy with another young man that hopefully will bring us into a new era the same way Richard did in his early years. So, it's a great honor for me to introduce our No. 1 draft pick, Will Campbell."
Will Campbell: "I think the biggest thing for me was I wanted to play for an organization that had history, that cared, that wants to win. That's the thing for me. I want to come in and I want to win, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to help the team win."
Will Campbell: "I'm just super thankful for them giving me this opportunity, them believing in me. I'm super excited for what the future holds here, and I really just can't wait to get back out here after today and get back to work."
Will Campbell on Gillette Stadium: "It's awesome. Whenever I came here for my 30 visit right after the NFL Combine, I walked in here and came in right over there. Whenever you come up here, you always see it on TV and all the history that comes with this stadium. For me to be able to put that jersey on and run out of that tunnel here coming up soon, it's going to be pretty special."
Will Campbell on Drake Maye: "That's my quarterback. So, I'm just super excited to continue to build the relationship with him, get to know each other as people. It's something I'm looking forward to. I'm a quarterback guy. I care about him a lot off the field and on the field."
Will Campbell on OC Josh McDaniels: "He’s been here for so long; it’s just an honor to play for him. He’s coached a lot of good offenses in his years here, and I’m just super excited to get to work with him. I’ll do whatever he asks of me, and I’m just really honored to be able to play for him."
Will Campbell: "Culture is everything. Culture wins you games."
Will Campbell: "I want everybody on the field to know that I'm going to give them everything I have. I want them to have full trust in me that I'm going to execute my job, and let’s just go win some games."
Will Campbell: "In the locker room, I just want everybody to give their best every single day, expect the best out of each other and just push each other to the best of each other's ability."
