Come now, Eric. The Bold & Beautiful patriarch should know after all these years that son Ridge and former daughter-in-law/wife Brooke aren’t destined to be, they’re destined to be toxic to one another. Yet Donna’s honey bear still encourages Brooke to keep her and Ridge’s love alive in the April 22 episode.
What the… ?!? Let it die already, we say. The man dumped Brooke on the advice of a pinecone and gave her the heave-ho again when she took a boneheaded stab at regaining control of his company for him. Marriage material, he ain’t — no matter how many times they’ve tried to “I do” it.

Mind you, Brooke’s no prize, either, considering the way she’s married her way up one side of the Forrester family tree and down the other, and slept with two of her daughters’ significant others. But she still deserves better than Ridge. Bill may have called Liam Mr. Waffle Man, but the title fits Ridge as well as or even better than it does Liam!
Thankfully, help is on the way in the form of Ridge’s at least marginally more sensible half brother, Nick. Despite Eric’s atrocious advice to Brooke, she’s likely to be drawn back in his direction. (We’d have expected her to lean on old flame Bill at a time like this, but dude’s having some serious issues of his own.)
