Saquon Barkley Sends Seven-Word Message After First Season With Eagles

It ended the former New York Giants' star's season. But in a span of only four seasons, Barkely went from absolute misery to a historic Super Bowl championship with the Eagles.

Along with the photo, Barkley added a message to his fans describing the difference between his championship season from an injury-plagued season in 2020.

"The story continues," Barkley posted on social media. "GOD is the greatest."

He certainly has a story to tell about his nearly record-breaking season of 2024, his first with the Eagles.

Barkley carried the ball 345 times for 2,005 yards. He had a chance to break Eric Dickerson's long-standing single-season rushing record of 2,104 yards, but he and the other Philadelphia starters were held out of their season finale.

The former Penn State product also rushed for 13 touchdowns during the regular season en route to being selected as the Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year.

Barkley signed with the Eagles as a free agent before the 2024 season after six seasons with the Giants.
