When we first met Salley Carson on Season 10 of Southern Charm, she had long, bright blonde hair. More recently, however, the Bravo newbie changed up her style with a rich chestnut brown hue.

During a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Salley shared the reasoning behind her hair color change. "I think just being tired of bleaching my hair," she noted during her stop by Bravo HQ in February. "Also all of us are blonde, and Madison in the Bahamas was like, 'Somebody needs to dye their hair brown.' So, you know, I didn’t really do it because of that, but here I am."

She added of her new look: "And I think it’s a lot better than the blonde."

Salley Carson details her hair routine

Elsehwere in our conversation, Salley shared details about how she does her hair and keeps it healthy.

"A lot of it’s extensions, right now at least. But, I don’t really have one. I use that [Color WOW Anti-Frizz Treatment], and it’s amazing," Salley said. "But I go like seven days without washing my hair, it’s not very oily. And it holds curl really well. So, I will even have these curls in my hair for probably the next four days. I just brush it out and then wear it like okay."

Salley concluded: "And I get a lot of blowouts, because drying my hair with extensions makes my arm hurt 'cause it takes forever."

Salley Carson explains what cosmetic work she's had done

In addition to sharing her hair routine, Salley previously revealed more about her beauty regimen on Southern Charm with her castmate, Molly O'Connell.

In Season 10, Episode 8, the pals caught up in a cafe about their lives and briefly discussed what cosmetic procedures they've had done. Salley and Molly discussed their experiences with face fillers.

“Being a woman is so hard," Salley said. "I’m sitting here getting my lip today. And my chin. And I’m like, ‘This hurts so f--king bad."

“I literally got chin filler two days ago,” Molly responded.

In a confessional, Salley noted that she started to get "little pokes here and there" because she was insecure. "But then I realized that it makes me feel good, too," she added. "So I’m going to continue to do that."

Back in her conversation with Molly, Salley also shared she had plans to get her breast implants taken out after having them in for over two years. She originally got them put in for her ex-fiancé, but later realized she “did it for the wrong reasons.”

“It’s not like my ex-fiancé told me, ‘Your boobs aren’t good enough’ or anything like that. He never did. But the girls that he was giving attention to had bigger breasts and didn’t look like I looked, and it somewhat made me insecure," she explained in a confessional. "But now if a guy told me to get something done or made me feel that way I would just exit the relationship.”
