Russell Wilson wasted absolutely no time getting reps in with his new teammates. The New York Giants quarterback posted a picture to his Instagram story with second-year tight end Theo Johnson, veteran wide receiver Darius Slayton, and fourth-year receiver Wan'Dale Robinson at Georgia Tech. He captioned the photo, "Good Few Days with the Boyzzz!"
Russ is already putting in the work for his highly-anticipated Big Apple debut.

Russ is coming off an interesting season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was the ultimate tale of two seasons. He started his tenure Week 7 after Justin Fields started the first six games. After stealing the starting spot, he went 6-1 in his first six starts. From there, things fell... apart. He lost the last four games of the regular season before flaming out against the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card.
But at least there was a Wild Card.
The Giants’ playoff hopes flatlined around Halloween. Daniel Jones, Tommy DeVito, Drew Lock, and Tim Boyle all took turns under center before the whole thing collapsed into a 3-14 dumpster fire.

Big Blue’s offseason program doesn’t officially begin until April 21, but Wilson’s already ahead of schedule. This is a new chapter, and Russ isn’t waiting around for the coaches to get the ball rolling.
Slayton is the veteran of the group, still capable of taking the top off a defense. Robinson’s coming off a sneaky-strong 93-catch season and should see even more production with some stability under center. Johnson was just starting to flash before his rookie year was cut short by a foot injury. If he builds on that potential, this group gets even more interesting.
Voluntary workouts don’t start until next week. Wilson put this together on his own—just a quarterback getting to work with the guys he’ll be counting on. It also fits what he said at his intro presser: that he wants to take ownership of the job, lead the room, and set the tone. Based on this? He’s walking the walk.
Wilson isn’t the only Giants quarterback putting in work this offseason. Before the team signed him or Jameis Winston, DeVito was already slinging it in Florida with Stefon Diggs, Rashee Rice, and Geno Smith. Safe to say the 2025 QB room is shaping up to be a serious upgrade from last year’s chaos.
“Good Few Days with the Boyzzz” might not be the most polished catchphrase, but Winston could work with him to come up with a better one... but at least it's better than his last one: “Broncos Country, let’s ride.”
