Teresa Giudice took aim at The Real Housewives of New York City cast’s abortion revelations while appearing on a podcast last week.
Months after Jenna Lyons, 56, and Erin Lichy, 37, opened up about their past abortions on season 15, the 52-year-old The Real Housewives of New Jersey star suggested that she didn’t agree with their decision to go public as she shaded Brynn Whitfield‘s actions against Ubah Hassan, 41, and slammed her co-star, Margaret Josephs, 57.
“I have seen it. I mean, listen, drama sells,” Teresa began of RHONY on the February 6 episode of Bonded by Bravo. “From the beginning, it was a little hard for me to just jump into it. But now I’ve been watching it … [And] I think people are starting to get into it.”
While Teresa applauded the cast for “putting it out there,” she was not a fan of their abortion stories.
“To me, I don’t know, a mom of four girls, I don’t think I would really want to advertise that I’m getting abortions,” she explained. “I wouldn’t want my kids to think that that’s okay. I know that’s a touchy subject, but to me, it’s something private … I was just like, ‘Wow.’ I was taken aback by that.”
As for the finale, which saw Brynn, 39, accusing Ubah, of weaponizing her past sexual assault against her, even though she admitted Ubah may not have known about it, Teresa was equally put off.
“The whole thing how that girl Brynn lied about Ubah, and I love Ubah cuz I’m really close with [Chanel Ayan]. I was like, ‘Wow, to lie about sh*t like that,’” Teresa recalled.
In addition to being close to Ayan, 46, Teresa has a number of other Housewife friends.
“In [The Real Housewives of Potomac], I love [Ashley Darby]. [The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City], [Angie Katsanevas], I’ve met Heather Gay … In [The Real Housewives of Miami], [Alexia Nepola] and [Larsa Pippen]. In [The Real Housewives of Dubai], I love Ayan and Caroline Stanbury,” she revealed.
Teresa also named Meredith Marks, 53, and she revealed that she filmed with her for their kids’ new show.
“Our kids are coming out with a show soon, spring/summer, so we filmed together,” she explained.
According to Teresa, she’s sure that a movie will one day be made about her. But when it comes to which actress would play her, she couldn’t think of anyone.
“I think I would play myself. There’s not too many people that look like me. [But] I know they’re gonna make a movie of my life one day,” she shared.
Teresa then named Margaret as her co-star who changed the most since joining RHONJ.
“Let’s say Margaret. After I said something to her she drastically changed,” Teresa stated.
