Teresa Giudice shared a photo of herself on Instagram on Wednesday that got the attention of her fans and followers for all the wrong reasons.
After the 52-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member shared an image of herself in a sheer dress with rhinestone studding, her online audience called her out for having her nipple covers in clear view as they compared her look to something her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, 45, had previously worn.
“Never dull your sparkle,” Teresa wrote in the caption of the March 12 photo.
While many commenters applauded Teresa’s look, praising it as “beautiful,” “gorgeous,” and “amazing,” others took notice of the nipple covers beneath the dress.
“What happened here?” someone asked.
“You should dull your pasties,” another suggested.
A third person simply wrote, “Yikes.”
Others stated that Teresa shouldn’t draw attention to her breasts and pointed out that the nipple covers could be spotted from “a mile away.”
Someone even suggested that the designer should’ve lined the dress so that the round discs weren’t visible.
Another person then seemingly compared the look to the dress Melissa wore on Watch What Happens Live in December 2024.
“The nip covers… Melissa did something much better without looking like she was trying to pick up biz!” they wrote.
But just like Teresa, Melissa received backlash for the look when she shared it on Instagram.
“The nipple covers are clearly visible and make you boobs look add shaped,” one person complained.
“This is so Awful. You can see the silicone boob covers,” another agreed.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on pause and expected to remain there until 2026.
