The Denver Broncos completed voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) last Thursday and will have mandatory minicamp from Tuesday, June 11, to Thursday, June 13. Once minicamp finishes, they will have a month and a half off until training camp begins.
One of the under-the-radar headlines surrounding the Broncos’ defense is the number of inside linebackers they will keep on their 53-man roster.

Smith will be on his fifth team in his seventh year in the league. He spent the 2023 season in Atlanta.

Smith signed a contract with the Falcons on May 15, 2023. The team released him during roster cuts but signed him to the practice squad. He signed to the active roster on November 7.
Smith played 11 games and started one in 2023, with 19 tackles, one pass deflection, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and a 77.1 PFF grade in 112 defensive snaps and 211 special teams snaps.
