Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are allegedly putting an end to their years-long feud and refusal to film together for the sake of the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey — and their respective roles on the Bravo reality series.

As Melissa, 45, spoke out about Luis Ruelas‘ role in their family drama and confirmed the moment she checked out of the relationship, an insider claimed that despite the fact that the sisters-in-law “can’t stand each other,” they plan to put their differences aside for the sake of business.

“This is not about mending broken hearts or repairing their shattered relationship. Nope, it’s all about business,” an insider told Life & Style on August 22. “The show’s future is hanging by a thread. If Teresa and Melissa don’t bury the hatchet, the entire franchise could come crashing down.”

“Let’s be real. They can’t stand each other, but they’re smart enough to know they have to work together if they want to keep those paychecks rolling in!” the source added.

Meanwhile, on the August 22 episode of Two Ts in a Pod, Melissa was questioned about whether she felt a reconciliation would be possible if Luis, 50, wasn’t in the picture.

“Louie is the problem, or do you think she’s the problem?” host Teddi Mellencamp, 43, asked.

“I think there was a lot of problems before him as well,” Melissa replied.

Describing their conflict as “two-sided,” Melissa said that her final straw happened when Teresa, 52, called Joe Gorga, 50, over to her home for a meeting with Luis.

“I’m not saying I’m an angel. But I think that I’ve taken a lot, I’ve forgiven a lot, I’ve moved forward with a lot. I’ll just say it like that. And I got to the point that when you’re now calling my husband over for a chat without me, and you’re sitting there with your new like, fiancé, and you’re telling him that I’m some bad wife and basically lying to him about cheating rumors … I have checked out of the building,” she explained, noting that Joe felt the same.

“He actually couldn’t believe that that’s why he got called over to the house,” Melissa admitted, adding that she should’ve been part of the conversation or at least “invited.”

As for their future, Melissa said it would be crazy for her to “keep coming back for more.”
