Rumor has it Andy Cohen has some rather surprising plans for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. If the rumor is true, fans may see the long-awaited return of Lisa Vanderpump to her roots.
But why did Lisa leave the show in the first place? We’re all still traumatized by Season 9 and the dog drama… On top of all her other pursuits, she had Vanderpump Rules, her spinoff show. Now, funnily enough, VPR has sort of outgrown itself, with an all-new cast on the way. Of course, there was also Lisa’s rocky relationship with some RHOBH stars, namely Kyle Richards.
And while Kyle isn’t a saint, she’s right that Lisa isn’t above criticism. Rumors suggest she has a bit of an ego problem, and VPR is now being rebooted. But Lisa’s return might make for the best season of RHOBH we’ve seen in a long time.
Andy Cohen Reacts To Vanderpump Rules Reboot News
An alleged insider recently spoke with OK! about a potential cast change coming to Beverly Hills. “Rumors have been circulating around Beverly Hills that Andy Cohen wants Lisa Vanderpump to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” the source said.
They acknowledged that Lisa’s return would “definitely shake up the cast.” That said, the return of “a beloved cast member” could spell big numbers in viewership. Of course, not everyone would be happy with Lisa’s return. “This would likely upset Kyle,” the source acknowledged.
They continued, “Lisa’s last stint on the show saw the pair at odds, with Kyle being kicked out of Lisa’s house by Lisa’s husband.” The insider also reasoned, “With Vanderpump Rules getting completely revamped, it would be the perfect time for that to premiere and to bring Lisa back to the show she was an original cast member on.”
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
