Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson did not win the NFL MVP award during the 2024 season, but many thought he should have. He put together a massive season both through the air and on the ground, but lost the award to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
When all was said and done, Jackson had completed 66.7% of his pass attempts for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns, and just four interceptions. In addition, he racked up 915 yards and four more touchdowns on the ground.
Putting up that kind of production and not winning the MVP award does not happen very often.
Looking ahead to the 2025 NFL season, fans are curious to see what Jackson can produce. Can he back up his 2024 performance with similar numbers this year?
ESPN has released head-turning predictions for the 28-year-old superstar quarterback.

In their projections for the upcoming 2025 NFL season, they have Jackson taking a huge dip in production.
Their numbers would see Jackson throw for 3,345 yards, 28 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. On the ground, they're projecting him to record 793 yards and four touchdowns.
Obviously, the numbers are just projections. Jackson will have the opportunity to blow past them and produce at the same level he did last season. For now, they're just a prediction of a major decrease in performance.
As for the Ravens, the team went 12-5 last season and were a serious contender in the AFC. They came up short in the divisional round of the playoffs against the Buffalo Bills and will look to come back even stronger in 2025.
