Call DeAndre Hopkins clairvoyant. Call him anything you want, but call him a member of the Baltimore Ravens.
Hopkins is clairvoyant because five years ago, while he and Henry played for the Tennessee Titans they posed for a photograph with Jackson of the Ravens at the NFL Honors and posted same on social media.
The photo contained the caption, "How many TD's would this trio total?"
Little did Hopkins know, that post would eventually come true. He signed with the Ravens this spring, while Henry signed with the Ravens last spring. The trio are together and will play next season as teammates for the first time.
Hopkins was asked about that picture which has gone viral since he signed with the Ravens,
"Honestly I did not think that was a possibility," Hopkins said, via the Ravens on X. “I was like Derrick Henry is obviously never leaving Tennessee and Lamar is never leaving Baltimore, so it's going to take me possibly going to either one of those places and obviously I went to Tennessee and Baltimore."
Hopkins would not predict how many touchdowns they would account for this season, but he was politically correct in his answer.
"The number is enough to win the amount of games we need to win," Hopkins said. "Hopefully it's more than a little bit."
In 2024 Jackson had 45 total touchdowns, through the air and on the ground. Henry accounted for 18, while Hopkins scored five. The trio scored a total of 68 touchdowns.
What they can do together will be determined later this year.
