Ravens Have Issued No Official Statement Regarding Justin Tucker Situation

Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is reportedly under investigation by the NFL after being accused by multiple women of inappropriate conduct during massage therapy sessions.

The league is currently interviewing three women with plans to talk to more, while the Ravens have officially said ... nothing.

Ravens Have Issued No Official Statement Regarding Justin Tucker Situation

On Friday, ESPN confirmed the league is talking to accusers as the NFL issued an official statement, “We do not provide details or updates of the review process while investigations are ongoing.”

The silence of the Ravens organization is a deviation from the last time they faced a similar situation with running back Ray Rice.

In Sept. 2014, a video surfaced of Rice physically assaulting his fiancée in an elevator. The Ravens wasted no time and bypassed an investigation, cutting him immediately. They didn't wait for a league investigation.

Baltimore did have a statement when the first allegations against Tucker came to light.

“We are aware of the Baltimore Banner’s story regarding Justin Tucker. We take any allegations of this nature seriously and will continue to monitor the situation,” the Ravens’ statement said.

The total number of allegations has grown to 16, and the Ravens have remained silent during the process.

Tucker denies all the allegations that he purposely exposed himself and acted inappropriately at all. There is no lawsuit or criminal charges, but the Ravens kicker could still be suspended by the NFL if it finds any of the allegations credible.

The league's official statement read, “We first became aware of the allegations from the reporter investigating this story as they were not previously shared with the NFL. We take any allegation seriously and will look into the matter.”
