Ravens divisional round playoff opponent finally confirmed after AFC slate concludes

The Baltimore Ravens did their part so far in the playoffs, knocking off the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night, and now are hoping to win their next postseason game. The Ravens had to wait until the conclusion of the Bills-Broncos game on Sunday afternoon to know who the team would face and we finally know who's on the schedule for next week.

Baltimore Ravens v Green Bay Packers

Before we get into that, let's look at the other two AFC playoff games from this weekend. Before the Ravens beat the Steelers, the Texans shocked a lot of people by sending the Chargers packing when not many people had predicted that. Then, on Sunday afternoon, the Bills ensured there wasn't an upset on their home field by taking care of business against the Broncos.

This means that all of the home teams won in the AFC, giving us the one, two, three, and four seeds squaring off for the divisional round.

Who will the Baltimore Ravens face in the divisional round of the playoffs?

With the better seeds winning, the Ravens will hit the road and play the Buffalo Bills next weekend. Meanwhile, the fourth-seeded Texans will head to Kansas City to play the Chiefs, who are the number one seed.

Baltimore played the Bills earlier in the season, whooping them to the tune of a 35-10 final on Sunday Night Football. Now, it's worth noting that game was in the fourth week of the regular season and a lot has changed since then but make no mistake, this match-up is going to be a banger.

Just because the Ravens handed it to the Bills in Week 4 doesn't mean it's going to be a cakewalk to victory for Baltimore again this time around. This game is also going to take place in Orchard Park, which is another difference from the Week 4 match-up.

Whoever wins that game will likely be headed to Kansas City for the AFC Championship Game but on the off chance that Houston upsets the Chiefs, it could end up determining who hosts the AFC title game. It'll also be another chance for us to watch the two MVP candidates go head-to-head.

Who else can't wait for next weekend?
