The league ensured that the staff on the sidelines of games knew CPR. This came right after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed and suffered a cardiac arrest in 2022.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell iterated the goals of the NFL and the strategic partnerships the league has signed with the American Heart Association and the Red Cross.

Being able to deliver care in emergency situations is not just important at sporting events, but in all walks of life. Our continued partnerships with the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross will ensure even more people have the capability to administer CPR and respond to emergencies. Roger Goodell said

It is safe to say that methods of resuscitation such as CPR are paramount for staff who spend their time around athletes.

The Baltimore Ravens have gotten off to a rough start this season after losing their first two games. Quarterback play from both teams was average with Lamar Jackson throwing for 247 yards and 1 touchdown. Gardner Minshew had 276 yards and 1 touchdown but ultimately, a field goal from Daniel Carson resulted in the Raiders securing their first win of the season.
