Fans of the Los Angeles Rams are trying to rally the troops ahead of their Monday night playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings. Kelly Stafford, wife of quarterback Matthew Stafford, is trying to do all she can to help L.A.’s cause. Lady Stafford is reportedly renting at least one charter barter for fans who want to attend the game in Arizona.
It’s a great gesture as this allows fans to see the game, but it also allows people to get an escape from L.A. The fires have been horrendous, and football isn’t everything, but a momentary escape from the mess is something. I’m all for it.
Please stay safe out there.
Comment on whatever you’d like, have a great weekend, and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!
“Kelly Stafford came through in the clutch for Los Angeles Rams fans trying to see their team in the playoffs.
After the Rams home playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings scheduled for Monday, January 13 was relocated to Glendale, Arizona due to the wildfires in southern California, fans called on the organization to provide transportation for season ticket holders who had been left stranded.
That’s when one of them received a DM via Instagram from Stafford, the wife of Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.
“I will gladly rent a charter bus for fans! There and back! Lemme know!” Kelly messaged a Rams superfan named Robert.”
“Want to go to an NFL playoff game in Arizona?
You now can, thanks to the NFL’s decision to move the Minnesota Vikings vs. Los Angeles Rams’ wild-card NFL playoff game to Arizona in the wake of the fires in Southern California.
The game is still scheduled to be played at 6 p.m. MST (8 p.m. ET) on Monday, Jan. 13, but it has been moved from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the home of the Arizona Cardinals.
Here’s what to know about how to purchase tickets and how much seats currently cost for the relocated NFL playoff game, the final NFL postseason game of the wild-card round.”
“Despite earning the second-most victories (14) in a season in franchise history, this year’s Vikings squad (14-3) will have a tougher starting playoff position than any other team in league history that’s won 14 games in a season. Minnesota’s loss to Detroit last week to close the regular season pushed the Vikings down to the No. 5 seed in the NFC Playoffs.
As a result, Minnesota will hit the road this weekend, opening the Wild Card Round on Monday against the Los Angeles Rams (10-7), who earned the No. 4 seed by claiming the NFC West division. Because of the ongoing wildfires in L.A., the NFL on Thursday night announced the game will be relocated to Arizona and played at State Farm Stadium.”
