Rams vs. Lions: How to watch on TV, livestream, listen on radio, bet, follow on social media and more

The Rams come in at 1-2 after opening the season with consecutive road losses, a tough overtime 26- 20 road loss to the Detroit Lions, followed by a 41-10 drubbing by the Arizona Cardinals. L.A. chalked their win in the last week’s SoFi stadium opener, a 27-24 last second win over the San Francisco 49ers. The Bears, also 1-2, opened 2024 with a home win over the Tennessee Titans 24-17 and then went on road for two weeks, losing in Week 2 to the Houston Texans 19-13 and again to the Indianapolis Colts 21-16 last Sunday.

It has been a tough start for the L.A. defense, wallowing at the bottom of the NFL rankings. Explosive plays have doomed the Rams, allowing 13 pass plays over 20 yards and 11 runs over 10 yards. They are 32nd in total yards allowed (1277) and yards per play (6.8), while mired in 31st for points allowed (91), first downs given up (70), and percentage of drives ending in a score (55.2).

Under rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, #1 pick overall in the 2024 draft, the Bears have started the season as one of the NFL’s worst offenses. The run game has been the biggest anchor, averaging only 72.7 yards per game at a paltry 3.0 per carry clip. Although Williams threw for 363 yards last week, the Chicago passing attack is only slightly better. Williams is completing 59.3% of passes (29th) for 176.7 yards per game (25th) and has been sacked 13 times (30th). It’s led to only 3.0 net yards per pass attempt (32nd) and 3.7 yards per play (32nd).

Who will prevail? Will the NFL’s worst offense find a way to exploit the worst defense?
