The Los Angeles Rams are in first place in the NFC West. With the Seattle Seahawks losing to the Green Bay Packers 30-13 on Sunday, the Rams move into a “tie” with Seattle at 8-6, but have the head-to-head win advantage. L.A. isn’t out of the woods yet in terms of making the playoffs, however the Rams have always had Seattle’s number and now they just need to make sure they are better than the Seahawks at the end of the season.
The Rams are the four seed in the NFC playoff picture for this week. They lose a conference record tiebreaker with the 8-6 Buccaneers, who are currently the three seed. Right now it appears that the Vikings or the Lions will be the five seed and the first wild card, which will especially be apparent if Minnesota beats the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
The Rams play the New York Jets, Arizona Cardinals, and Seattle Seahawks to finish the season.
The Seahawks play the Vikings, Bears, and Rams.
The Cardinals play the Panthers, Rams, and 49ers.
