The 2025 NFL Draft is in the books for the Las Vegas Raiders, and the team added 11 players in total. Despite the huge draft class, the team is remaining active on the undrafted free agent market.
Seven of the 11 draft picks were on the offensive side of the ball, which has led to the Raiders favoring defense for undrafted signings. One player the team has signed is former Minnesota defensive end Jah Joyner, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Joyner played five seasons at Minnesota, but didn't start making an impact until his final season. In his fourth season, he had 7.5 sacks, which was his best year. He fell down to 4.5 sacks in his final season.

One thing Joyner became very good at is batting down passes, as he had seven passes defended last season. That's an impressive number for a defensive lineman. He'll have a good chance to be a practice squad player for the Raiders this season.
Las Vegas made an additional defensive signing. According to Pelissero, former Baylor linebacker Matt Jones is signing with the team.
Jones played for six years at Baylor and played a total of 62 games. He had a total of 199 tackles and 12.0 sacks in his college career.
Jones is an average athlete, but has a lot of experience playing high-level football. They only added one linebacker in the draft, so there'll be an opportunity for young players to stand out and earn a roster spot. Jones has an uphill battle, but his experience could help him stand out among the other rookies the team adds.
