Raiders Showing Interest in Underrated Championship-Winning QB

Though the Las Vegas Raiders agreed to a new contract with quarterback Geno Smith, they appear to still be in the quarterback market this offseason. The team has visited with a number of quarterback prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft class and is adding another one to the list.

According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the Raiders are hosting North Dakota State quarterback Cam Miller on a top-30 visit. Miller hasn't been talked about much in this draft class. The two-time FCS National Champion had his best season in 2024 as he threw for 33 touchdowns to just four interceptions.

Miller doesn't have high-end traits or size but he won a lot at NDSU. Obviously, that was against FCS competition but he still acquitted himself well. The Raiders only get 30 of these visits so at least have some interest in him.

Miller will definitely be available on Day 3 of the draft and could also be an undrafted free agent. Kyle Crabbs of The 33rd Team said his comp is a "discount Baker Mayfield."

Raiders general manager John Spytek was just on the team that employs Mayfield so he might have a soft spot for that type of quarterback.
