It hasn't been all rainbows and butterflies for the 2024 Las Vegas Raiders, but the future of the organization could hold promise, depending on the moves the front office has in store for the upcoming offseason.
At the moment, the Raiders rank near the bottom of the league offensively. Through 14 games, Las Vegas is averaging just under 300 total yards per game and is also the fourth-lowest scoring team, with only 17.5 points per game.
Clearly, the Raiders are in desperate need of some offensive firepower, and one article suggests that Las Vegas is willing to make sound waves across the NFL landscape.
According to Tyler Brooke of the 33rd Team, the Raiders are one team that he believes could put together a trade package for Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
"Assuming that the Las Vegas Raiders take Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft, they're going to want to surround him with as much talent as possible," Brooke writes. "The Raiders offense features an ascending star tight end in Brock Bowers and a steady presence at receiver in Jakobi Meyers. However, the Raiders don't have an offensive weapon that can stretch the field vertically,"
The hypothetical trade would include the Dolphins receiving a 2025 third-round pick and fifth-round pick from the Raiders in exchange for the Miami speedster.
Of course, Hill set social media ablaze with a cryptic tweet on Wednesday morning. Is he just stirring the pot for fun, or are his days in a Dolphins jersey numbered? Either way, it’s time for the Silver and Black to push all their chips to the middle of the table.
