Despite missing five games in 2024, NFL personnel still ranked Las Vegas Raiders superstar Maxx Crosby near the top of his position.
In a survey conducted by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, league executives, coaches, and scouts listed Crosby as the fourth-best edge rusher in football.
"Relentless motor, skilled rusher and never wants to leave the game," an NFL coordinator said to ESPN. "Keeps getting better and better."
"For him to play at that high a level with that volume is incredible," a high-ranking AFC personnel man said to ESPN.
Crosby has developed into a superstar since arriving in Las Vegas as a fourth-round pick in 2019. The 27-year-old has posted three double-digit sack seasons and led the league in tackles for loss in 2023 and 2024.
According to Pro Football Focus, Crosby has tallied 430 quarterback pressures since entering the league in 2019, the most by any player in that span.
The Eastern Michigan product missed some time in 2024 due to an ankle injury, but was still able to post 7.5 sacks and 54 quarterback pressures in 12 games
The Raiders haven't had much success recently, as the team hasn't reached the postseason since 2021 and hasn't won a playoff game in over 22 years. However, Crosby has been a bright spot and will continue to wreak havoc on opposing offenses in Patrick Graham's defense.
