Raiders just picked the perfect person for the job when it comes to drawing more fans in from the Bay Area and LA

The Las Vegas Raiders have one of the best media, or multimedia I should say, teams in the business. There are not many NFL teams in the league who do it better, whether it's the Behind the Shield show, pre-game and post-game shows, or other things.

The Raiders have mastered that part of it all, along with their amazing PR team, which can get us media transcripts and things of that nature very quickly. And that ultimately helps us do our job better, which helps the readers and fans in the long run, too. None of that goes unnoticed from the Raiders, and I'm sure every media member would likely tell you the same.

And now, the multimedia team is even taking it a step further. Just when you thought they couldn't do any better, they go out and get a guy, the perfect man for the job, actually, who can help draw in more fans from both the Bay Area and the Los Angeles area.

Yes, the Bay Area has the San Francisco 49ers and the LA area has the Los Angeles Chargers and the Los Angeles Rams, but there are still a huge number of Raiders fans in both areas.

The Raiders are making a smart move to draw both in.

Raiders hire Baron Davis to the multimedia team

There is a new Raiders TV host in town. According to Raiders.com Staff, they are hiring former NBA All-Star Baron Davis, who is set to host Raiders: Talk of the Nation.

Davis is from Los Angeles, where he grew up a Raiders fan. He also played for the Los Angeles Clippers, so that helps with the recognition, too. But some of his best days in the NBA were with the Golden State Warriors, back when they were in Oakland.

So, Davis is very ingrained and familiar with everything Raiders. This is the perfect hire.
