Raiders Could Pair Maxx Crosby With Longtime Rival in 'Revenge' Move

It looks like Joey Bosa's days with the Los Angeles Chargers could be numbered. He's been one of the faces of the team since being the No. 3 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. However, he's missed three or more games in each of the last three seasons and ESPN's Dan Graziano recently reported that Bosa could be a cut candidate this offseason.

He could go team up with his brother on the San Francisco 49ers or try to land with another contending team, but he could also decide to make a petty move. Bosa has been a rival of the Las Vegas Raiders for nearly a decade but Tyler Brooke of The 33rd Team thinks that he's a fit to line up with Maxx Crosby.

"If Bosa isn't happy with how things are ending in Los Angeles, he'd have an opportunity to get revenge on his old team twice a year by signing with the Las Vegas Raiders," Brooke wrote.

This is also a move that could help appease Crosby, who has been the subject of trade rumors.

"There's also significant speculation regarding a potential Crosby trade," Brooke wrote. "While nothing has been stated publicly, that kind of move would make a veteran pass rusher a top-tier need for the Raiders, even if they're attempting to rebuild around whoever their next quarterback will be.

"Bosa is a proven EDGE who is still in the middle of his prime as long as he can stay healthy, and the Raiders have plenty of money to spend if they want to add another pass rusher, regardless of their plans with Crosby's future."
