Las Vegas Raiders running back Raheem Mostert knows a thing or two about the Miami Dolphins, and it is clear that those things are not exactly good.
On Monday, the Dolphins made a massive move to trade cornerback Jalen Ramsey and tight end Jonnu Smith, along with a 2027 seventh-round pick, to the Pittsburgh Steelers for safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and a fifth-rounder in the same year. Ramsey and Smith were both dissatisfied with their current situations in Miami, and the Steelers are making their all-in push for 2025 with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver DK Metcalf already added to their roster. Both are currently ahead of the Raiders in the AFC pantheon, so one getting substantially weaker while another is questionable beyond 2025 could prove advantageous to them.
Mostert, however, was not a fan of the move by any means, and took to X to vent his frustrations.
It is clear that Mostert still has bad blood with his former team.
In his post, Mostert slammed the Dolphins for how they treated Pro Bowl players, with Ramsey and Smith each making it in the past two years.
Hot take: Be a Pro-bowler on the Dolphins, get treated like sh*t. Happy for my guys though! GO BALL OUT!! https://t.co/RyDBVE8h1i

Mostert is not just providing sour grapes, as his situation is not too different from those of his former teammates.
In 2023, Mostert put together the first 1,000-yard season of his career with the Dolphins, leading the NFL in touchdown runs with 18. The Pro Bowl season gave Mostert an extension that offseason, but his role on the offense diminished quickly with the rise of De’Von Achane. The veteran was cut this offseason and signed with the Raiders, now providing sixth overall pick Ashton Jeanty with a mentor.
Mostert’s comments, as well as how the Dolphins handled this situation, could give some players pause about taking their talents over to South Beach.
