Porsha Williams' Divorce From Simon Guobadia: Everything We Know & Where They Stand

"Porsha Williams files for divorce" headlines first broke in February 2024, shortly after she and Simon celebrated 15 months of marriage. PEOPLE f​​irst reported the news after obtaining Atlanta court documents that showcased a divorce filing.

Following their May 2021 engagement, Porsha and Simon wed in not one, but two lavish ceremonies during November 2022. The events took place over Thanksgiving weekend.

Unfortunately, their relationship was not without controversy; Simon was previously married to another RHOA familiar face Falynn Guobadia, and many fans wondered if there'd been overlap in the relationships.

"For all of you that need facts, I get the optics but Simon filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January. I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That’s between the two of them. Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled," explained Porsha in a May 2021 Instagram post announcing their engagement. "Our relationship began a month ago — yes we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most."

Porsha has been pretty low-key about her split. (We might just have to wait for RHOA Season 16 to get more of the story.) Simon, for his part, shared some thoughts on the matter shortly after news of Porsha's filing broke.

“Will Stop Loving My Wife When Divorce is Final,” he wrote in a February 2024 Instagram story.

While Porsha did file for divorce (unlike some other Bravo couples we know), her divorce hasn't been legalized yet. As of now, she and Simon are simply estranged.
