Phyllis And Sharon Team Up To Rescue Traci And Confront Their Tormentor

‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) may soon team up to rescue Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and confront their tormentor.

The two ladies may devise a plan to trap Alan Laurent (aka Martin Laurent, played by Christopher Cousins) and seek justice.

On the April 7th episode of Y&R, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) shared important information with Sharon, Phyllis, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about the kidnapper case.

Phyllis and Sharon received news about the purchase of a gas expulsion device, which is linked to a psychiatric clinic in Paris.

They know Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was in Paris. Sharon deduced that Alan was involved. Chance already has suspicions regarding Alan. Now, he only needs proof of his guilt.

Between Phyllis’s keen instincts and Sharon’s ability to read between the lines, the two of them may figure out that Alan is really his evil twin brother, Martin, and he was the one who held them hostage at that abandoned mental facility.

Traci plans to confront Alan when he returns to Genoa City. She may be in over her head and find herself in grave danger once he realizes she’s onto him. Traci may try to sound the alarm to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Martin may try to pull Traci’s heartstrings, telling her how much he still loves her. He will make promises to her about the wonderful future they’ll have if they get away from Genoa City and start a new life together.

Traci may even be tempted to go with him for a second, but she’ll come into reality and remember Martin’s heinous crimes. Traci may warn Martin that his time is up.

However, Martin is a cunning villain who may not allow himself to be captured so easily. It would be a big, nothing burger if Chance simply showed up and arrested Martin.

Upcoming spoilers hint that Sharon and Phyllis will strengthen their alliance. They will join forces to nail Martin and exact their revenge for his demented kidnapping scheme. They want him to go to prison for the rest of his life.

Sharon and Phyllis may arrive in the nick of time to rescue Traci. They will no doubt get a chance to confront Martin. Phyllis will have the opportunity to put closure to her trauma and fear.

Spoilers also predict that Martin may try a crazy move against Chance when he goes to bring him in and meets a dark fate.

If we had to venture to guess, Martin may get shot if he tries to take Chance out or attempts to flee with Traci.

It will be fun to see Phyllis and Sharon work together once again. We have to wonder if their alliance will last if they can both get over their past grievances.

It would be ideal for them and their families if they buried their long-time rivalry and decided to move forward. It would certainly make Nick happy. All that said, it’s a shame that Traci couldn’t get the happy ending she deserves.
