Members of the Vanderpump Rules are taking to their social media accounts to offer updates to their fans and followers amid the devastating fires around Los Angeles.
As fires continue to ravage homes and businesses throughout several areas in Los Angeles, including the Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and the Hollywood Hills, Scheana Shay, 39, and Beau Clark, 44, admitted they were starting to get concerned about their homes as Jax Taylor, 45, revealed a new fire was threatening his Studio City bar, Jax’s Studio City, and Ariana Madix, 39, and Katie Maloney, 37, offered donations to those impacted by the wildfires before temporarily closing their sandwich shop, Something About Her.
“Okay, not gonna lie, starting to freak out a little. Just had [Brock Davies] go outside and put the sprinklers on, water the house down … I literally … am just, like, walking in circles in my house,” Scheana said in a January 8 clip shared on her Instagram Story. “I have, like, photo albums and wedding things, baby things, irreplaceable things. I’m just, I’m praying we don’t have to go anywhere. I’m saying prayers for everyone who’s had to evacuate.”
“The fire’s, like, really close to my daughter [three-year-old Summer Moon]’s school and it’s just really scary and really, really sad. So, sending everyone prayers and hoping they can get this contained and in order soon,” she added.
Then, with a second clip, in which a headline revealed that a Studio City fire had been extinguished, Scheana, who purchased her Sherman Oaks home for $2.5 million in 2024, gave a sigh of relief.
“Okay, that’s good,” she stated.
Nearby in the Hollywood Hills, where he and Stassi Schroeder, 36, own a $1.1 million home, which they share with four-year-old daughter Hartford and one-year-old son Messer, Beau asked, “WTF is going on?! This one is too close to us.”
Jax also began to worry as he saw that a new fire had erupted near his business.
“That’s my bar … [Jax’s Studio City],” he wrote in the caption of an Instagram Story, in which he included a screenshot of a news program discussing a blaze near the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Whitsett in Studio City.
Ariana and Katie, whose sandwich shop opened less than one year ago in West Hollywood, announced they’d be closed on Thursday.
“Out of an abundance of caution and with the well-being of our staff in mind, we have decided to close the shop tomorrow … We remain hopeful that conditions will improve and we plan to reopen on Friday … Thank you for understanding and take care of yourselves,” they shared on the official IG page of Something About Her.
Then, with another post, they confirmed they were offering bread to those in need.
“After we close at 5 PM, we will be setting out our remaining fresh bread for anyone who may need a little something tonight,” they shared.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
