Andrews, who announced his decision to retire on Wednesday, will hold his retirement press conference at 3:30 p.m. ET, marking the end of an era for a linchpin of New England’s offensive line.

Andrews, 32, joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2015 and quickly established himself as a dependable starter, playing in front of NFL legend Tom Brady.

Over 10 seasons, he played in 124 games, making 121 starts and was a key contributor to two Super Bowl championships (LI and LIII), later being named a member of the New England Patriots All-2010s Team.

The Patriots closed out the 2024 NFL season with a 4-13 record, finishing last in the AFC East for the second consecutive year.

Under first-year head coach Jerod Mayo, Bill Belichick’s successor, the team struggled to find consistency, enduring a six-game losing streak to match a drought not seen since 1993.

Rookie quarterback Drake Maye and former first-round cornerback Christian Gonzalez provided bright spots, with Maye earning a Pro Bowl nod and Gonzalez registering second team All-Pro honors.

Despite undergoing shoulder surgery that limited him to just four games last season, Andrews’ resolve and leadership in the locker room remained steadfast throughout the season.

Andrews’ departure symbolizes the closing of a decade-long chapter in New England and the emergence of a new Patriots era.
