Patriots Predicted To Trade For $94 Million Raiders Two-Time All Pro

The New England Patriots are going to be faced with some hard decisions this offseason, and a lot of them will have to do with what they do with the No. 4 pick.

Patriots Predicted To Trade For $94 Million Raiders Two-Time All Pro

Last year, the Patriots took quarterback Drake Maye third overall, and he quickly became one of the best young quarterbacks in the game.

Now, New England will have to decide how they want to build around him.

Will they take a No. 1 wide receiver or a tackle to keep him upright, or could they look at the defensive side?

If the Patriots don't fall in love with anyone in the first round, they could move the pick for a proven veteran pass rusher, and two names have been brought up over the last few weeks.

Cleveland Browns All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett requested a trade at the start of Super Bowl week, and Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby could also be on the move this offseason.

Crosby hasn't requested any trade, but it could be wise to move him and get some pieces back the way the Raiders are going.

Cory Woodroof from For The Win wrote 25 predictions for the NFL offseason and has the Patriots trading for Crosby.

"The Raiders are in full rebuild mode, as much as the franchise might not want to admit it. Crosby is one of the league’s best pass-rushers, and it’s possible Las Vegas will send him elsewhere this offseason." Woodroof wrote.

"The Patriots could use a player of Crosby’s caliber on their defense to help the Mike Vrabel/Drake Maye era take flight. New England could really use Crosby going forward, and the team has plenty of cap space to pay him what he’s worth for the years to come."

New England's head coach, Mike Vrabel, is a defensive-minded coach, so getting him an elite pass rusher who's only 27 years old could speed up the Patriot's rebuild.
