With the NFL offseason close to beginning for veterans across the league it is no wonder players are trying to soak up every minute they can before hitting the grind and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is no different.
The three-time Super Bowl winner was in Miami over the weekend for the Miami Grand Prix as part of a likely business trip, with Mahomes being an investor in the Alpine Formula 1 team.
But just because this is a little business trip, doesn't mean Patrick and his wife Brittany can't mix in a little pleasure either, right?
In what was a kid-free experience for the parents, Patrick and Brittany were snapped by TMZ with a host of celebrities at a party at Cabone Beach, which featured Mahomes and Tom Brady, along with musician Jelly Roll, and others.
Given that some alone time would be hard to come by for Patrick and Brittany, it appears that a quick trip to Miami for the Formula 1 was just what was needed ahead of the grueling NFL offseason Mahomes is about to embark on.
With rookies going through their paces at various mini-camps across the league, veterans, like Mahomes, aren't expected to be in attendance, and it is clear that Patrick and Brittany wanted to let their hair down one last time before the NFL season takes a foothold in their lives.
Mahomes will be looking for the Alpine Formula 1 team to do well at the Grand Prix before heading back to Kansas City, where he will begin the long, arduous journey back to what he hopes will be another Super Bowl appearance.
