Of course, winning two in a row is no small feat, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed a key moment during last season that helped them beat the San Francisco 49ers in last year's Super Bowl.

Last year, they ended the season 11-6, with their final loss coming on Christmas Day to the Las Vegas Raiders. However, in Mahomes' eyes, it may have been a blessing in disguise.

"That was a pretty embarrassing loss, and you know everybody was watching because it's Christmas Day, and so obviously it sparked us to win the Super Bowl, so it ended up working out," he said.

This season has been very different for the Chiefs, who are 14-1, have the AFC West title locked up, and currently hold the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.

Their one loss is also far from embarrassing, as it came to the Buffalo Bills, who are 12-3 and a threat for the No. 1 seed.

However, the Chiefs once again play on Christmas Day this year, but this time it's against the Houston Texans, who at 9-6 are a formidable opponent, and a loss wouldn't be as hard to imagine.
