Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover’s split has been anything but amicable in the aftermath. The Bravo world was shocked to hear that the Summer House and Southern Charm stars decided to call it quits. Both of them have different opinions of how and why the breakup went down, leading to more mess.
Paige isn’t one to cower to haters. Since the breakup with Craig, she’s stood by her decision to focus on her career rather than immediately settling down. Obviously, fans had plenty of opinions about this decision. Unshockingly, not everyone agreed with Paige. She recently clapped back at what she thinks led to her getting so much hate, particularly from older women.
Paige DeSorbo’s split from Craig Conover was criticized by “Facebook moms”

In an interview with People, Paige admitted that she doesn’t regret how she handled the breakup. “I would have taken the Facebook-over-65 mom hate 10 times over if it meant the same outcome and that I chose myself and what I wanted,” she said. See? She’s never going to not follow her gut.
Later, she doubled down that most of the hate she’s received about the breakup has come from “older women,” but she doesn’t blame them. I totally get that because they lived in a different time,” she said. “I feel like my mom’s generation is the first generation to be like, ‘Hey, we have thoughts and opinions.’ They paved the way for us to be like, ‘Not only do we have thoughts and opinions, but we’re going to enforce them, and we’re going to do what we want.’ It’s just this trickle-down effect.”
Paige thinks that if a man in her situation focused on his career instead of a relationship, he’d be getting praise. She added, “It’s like, ‘How dare she break up with a man who’s over six foot and wants to marry her? Is she crazy?’” Taking a page from Lindsay Hubbard, Paige admitted to previously having her own marriage and motherhood timeline. “I had no idea I would fall in love with my career as much as I did,” she said. You can’t blame a girl for following her passion.
