Jordan Love missing games early into his second season as QB1 wasn’t how many Green Bay Packers fans wanted to see his development as Aaron Rodgers’ heir apparent to play out.

Love’s Week 1 injury against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil will have him miss games. While there were murmurs of Love being available to play for Green Bay in their home opener against the Indianapolis Colts, his absence in team practices during the leadup to the game suggests that he’ll be forced to watch the game from the sideline.

While Packers fans have to make peace with the fact that their starting QB will have to miss a couple of games, one analyst gives them a bit of hope with his prediction on when their star signal caller will return to the squad.

Adam Schefter predicts Jordan Love will be available for the Green Bay Packers by Week 4

Renowned NFL insider Adam Schefter reveals that the 25-year-old quarterback should be able to suit up for the Green Bay Packers when they face NFC North rivals Minnesota Vikings in Week 4.

Per Lombardi Ave’s Freddie Boston:

“If you look at the schedule, in three or four weeks, they play the Vikings at home,” said Schefter. “We’ll see how he recovers here, but that would be a logical timeline and a logical spot for him to try to come back.”

This would be the best-case scenario, as Love would only miss two games—home against the Indianapolis Colts and on the road versus the Tennessee Titans. Even if the Packers lost both and fell to 0-3, they would have enough time with a healthy Love to get the season back on track.

Love had a decent game for the Packers in Week 1 despite the unfamiliar situation of playing in Brazil. He completed 17 passes for 260 yards and two touchdowns. If he does return on time to play the Vikings, fans will hope to see an improved performance against their division rivals.
