There is a lot of offensive talent on the Green Bay Packers entering the 2024 season. A lot of players last season were just getting their feet wet and wondered what kind of untapped potential they had. Green Bay is only going to get better offensively and it should make this offense a dangerous unit for years to come.
Head coach Matt LaFleur and his coaching staff have done a tremendous job of developing the players. There were many questions about this coaching staff last season when they started 2-5. They finished with a 9-8 record and were not questioned after that. This offense has a chance to be a Top 10 to Top 5 offense in the NFL in 2024.
The Green Bay Packers offense can beat you in so many different ways. There is no one way to game-plan to stop this offense. This is what defensive coordinators are going to be having nightmares about for the 2024 season.
Green Bay Packers Second-Year Tight End Luke Musgrave Named To the 2024 All-Break Out Team By Pro Football Focus
Gordon McGuinness of Pro Football Focus listed his all-break-out team for the 2024 season. He has Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave on the list. McGuinness said about Musgrave:
“You could make the case here for either second-year Packers tight end. Musgrave dropped just one of the 41 catchable passes thrown his way in 2023 and finished his rookie season with three straight 70.0-plus PFF receiving grades.”
Musgrave played in 11 games last season for the Green Bay Packers. He caught 34 passes for 352 yards receiving and one touchdown, along with averaging 10.4 yards per reception. Luke Musgrave was targeted 46 times last season.
He was a second-round pick out of Oregon State in the 2023 NFL Draft. Musgrave missed some games last season because he went on injured reserve with a lacerated kidney.
This is just another weapon in the Green Bay Packers offense for other teams to prepare for. Luke Musgrave isn’t the only reliable tight end in this offense. When Musgrave was sidelined last year, Tucker Kraft stepped up in his absence. Kraft was a third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of South Dakota State.
It would not be a surprise to see Musgrave have at least over 500 yards receiving and more touchdown receptions this season if he can stay healthy for all 17 games. The Green Bay Packers should use the tight ends in their offense to keep defenses guessing.
