The Green Bay Packers were able to defeat the Los Angeles Rams 24-19 to improve to 3-2. It was the first time since 1966 that the Packers were able to knock off the Rams in Los Angeles. Green Bay was able to overcome a slow start by their offense to outscore Los Angeles 14-6 in the second half.

Second-year tight end Tucker Kraft was on the receiving end of both Jordan Love touchdown passes in the second half and led the team in receiving yards (88). However, his 2023 NFL Draft mate, wide receiver, Jayden Reed, had a pretty good game himself, catching four passes for 78 yards.

It was Reed’s first quarter catch that set up Packers running back Josh Jacobs for his first touchdown since signing with Green Bay earlier this year.

As mentioned, the Packers’ offense was rather stagnant in the first half. However, they did score their first touchdown in the first quarter thanks to this incredible Brett Favre-like throw from Love to Reed:

The 53-yard bomb advanced the Packers to goal line. Shortly after, Jacobs ran the ball into the end zone for his first Packers touchdown.
