Breaking: Packers Make Call On First Round Pick In 2025 (Report)

The Green Bay Packers will be hosting the NFL Draft for the first time ever this April.  It has been something Green Bay has fought for for years.  Coincidentally, this is also the off-season that could propel Green Bay from a playoff team to a Super Bowl contender.

Having a first round pick in the same year you host the draft is a necessity, right?

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:

Brian Gutekunst says Mark Murphy told him he can trade their first-round pick despite the draft being in Green Bay.

Gutekunst wants more than the seven picks he has, so safe to say he’s not trading a first for an edge rusher?

“Depends who that edge rusher would be,” he said.

Here is a look at Green Bay’s current draft picks in 2025:

  • No. 23 (first round

  • No. 54 (second round)

  • No. 87 (third round)

  • No. 123 (fourth round)

  • No. 160 (fifth round)

  • No. 200 (sixth round)

  • No. 239 (seventh round)
