Jaire Alexander could be made available by draft night.

That's what Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said recently, and it means other teams are starting to consider offers for the two-time Pro Bowl cornerback.

One possible destination for Alexander is the Carolina Panthers, according to Last Word on Sports writer David Latham.

"The Carolina Panthers did what they could to fix a terrible defense, but there is still work to be done. Pro Bowler Jaycee Horn proved he could be a valuable part of the defense when healthy last year and Michael Jackson was one of the few bright spots on the unit last year," he writes.

Latham goes on to suggest the Panthers should actually hope for Alexander's release and then sign him.

Alexander had two interceptions in 2024 and has 12 in his NFL career.
