Doubs was already an under-the-radar name the Packers should've considered moving during draft weekend, but their work on the opening two days only accelerates that need.
The Packers still need to address edge-rusher, cornerback, and the defensive line, and acquiring more draft capital is the best way to make it happen.

All of a sudden, the Packers have a crowded wide receiver room. We can assume Christian Watson will begin the season on the PUP list, but beyond him, they have added Matthew Golden, Savion Williams, and free-agent signing Mecole Hardman to a room already featuring Doubs, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, and Malik Heath.
Doubs, who missed time due to injury and a team suspension last season, only has one year left on his contract.
Could the Packers receive a fourth-rounder in return? That seems reasonable from a wide receiver-needy team that missed out on their top targets in the opening three rounds. Doubs is a proven, reliable option but could be the odd one out in Green Bay beyond this season.
Perhaps the Packers can also swing a trade for Alexander, but that feels less likely, given his injury history and contract. Green Bay has been unable to trade him to this point. He has missed half of the Packers' regular-season contests over the past four years, and teams understandably don't want to take his massive contract if Green Bay is going to release him anyway.
It's a different story for Doubs, and the Packers should pick up the phone and see if they can cook up a deal. Time is running out to address their biggest positional concerns, and trading Doubs could give them the draft capital to get everything they need.
