Former NFL head coach Norv Turner is coming back to help his son, Scott, run the Las Vegas Raiders’ offense. The elder Turner did not have any reservations about coming back, though he had to keep things quiet with one important figure.
Scott Turner, now serving as the interim offensive coordinator for the Raiders, relayed a funny story Thursday about how he and his dad wound up working together.
Obviously, mom knows now, and was seemingly fine with the arrangement.
Norv Turner remains one of the most respected offensive minds in football and was even a former head coach of the Raiders, so getting him and his son in a tandem deal could be quite helpful.
They will be tasked with jumpstarting an offense that has failed to hit the 21-point mark in all but three of its games this season.
