Nico Collins spoke to the media after the game about what contributed to the win and what Joe Mixon means to this team.
What do you think contributed to the win today?
Nico: [It was] commitment, attention to detail and just the want to win. I feel like we've had the weapons and I feel like it's really coming down to the details… The offense came together, did well and we got the win.
How essential is this bye week for you guys?
Nico: It’s major. It’s good. I feel like we need this week to take care of our bodies mentally and physically…[We’ve] got a good little stretch so we need every piece.
What do you feel like Joe Mixon has really meant to this team?
Nico: [He means] a lot man. He’s a leader, a dog. We need that leadership and that's what he brings every day, that dog mentality. He is the same in person Monday through Sunday, you know ain't nothing changing but the day so I'm glad he’s on my side. I'm glad he’s on the offense and glad he's out there making plays for us.
