The NFL will confirm the full schedule for the 2024 season on Wednesday, but a busy week of announcements continued with details of another exciting slate of games heading overseas.
London has become a home-from-home for the league in recent seasons, and three more games will take place in the capital with Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings and the New England Patriots heading across the Atlantic with three of the leagues newest quarterbacks part of the line-up.
The Jaguars have made London their second home over the last decade-plus, and they are set to return for the 14th straight year in 2024 with games in back-to-back weeks. The number one overall draft pick will bring his team to London - with the Chicago Bears already naming Caleb Williams as starting QB. Drake Maye and J.J. McCarthy will also be on display.
The NFL will not return to Mexico in 2024, instead heading to South America with their first-ever game to be held in Brazil with the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Green Bay Packers on the opening Friday of the season.
Here, Mirror Sport has put together all you need to know after the games had been announced on Tuesday.
London
New York Jets vs Minnesota Vikings, Week 5, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
The Jets and Aaron Rodgers are a compelling story and they will face rookie J.J. McCarthy in London, a fascinating game between two teams who have made numerous moves this offseason.
The Jets will hope to contend for a Super Bowl this offseason, with Rodgers fit to lead the team after a season-ending Achilles in Week 1 last year, and they have bolstered their offensive line while getting their franchise quarterback ready for the full season.
The Vikings have a perfect 3-0 record in London, while the Jets have a 1-1 record.
Chicago Bears vs Jacksonville Jaguars, Week 6, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Caleb Williams will be playing in London in his rookie season, leading a new-look Bears teams to face the Jaguars.
Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars will once again play two games in the English capital this year having won at both Wembley and Tottenham in the 2023 season. The Jags have played in London 12 times so far, with an impressive 7-5 record in that time - most recently getting a big win over the Buffalo Bills.
The Bears, meanwhile will return to London for a third time in the regular season, after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2011 before losing to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2019.
New England Patriots vs Jacksonville Jaguars, Week 7, Wembley
The Jaguars second game in London will see Mac Jones potentially face his old team, should staring quarterback Lawrence not be able to play in the game.
Jones was traded away before the Draft as the Patriots looked to the future, and with the third overall pick from this year they selected Drake Maye who will have hoped to win the starting job, where he will compete with Jacoby Brissett.
The Patriots boast a 2-0 record playing in England.
