The Seattle Seahawks' season came to an end with the team ending the year with a win in Week 18 over the Los Angeles Rams, bringing their record to 10-7.
Most of the team is getting to finish the year on a high note, but the NFL had different plans for one Seahawks player.
NFL fines Seahawks defensive back Tre Brown for illegal action in the team's season finale vs. NFC West rivals the Rams
The NFL announced that they are fining Seahawks defensive back Tre Brown $6,750.00. Brown is being fined for a facemask penalty that the league deemed to also be "Unnecessary Roughness."
This is one of 24 fines handed out by the NFL for the Week 18 slate. His fine was the ninth cheapest assessed by the league for the week. Luckily, the fine wasn't one of the higher amounts given out by the league this week, but still not the thing any player wants to be the last thing to remember their season by. Brown is set to become a free agent this offseason, so it could end up being the final memory from his time in Seattle.
